Ingenuity

I wait at a bus station for the miracleous coming of the bus. A guy steps closer and tells me he's collecting cash for a bus ticket so he can get home. He seems familiar. I think I've met him before. A week or two ago. He used the same phrases and the same amount, "1300 SIT for the ticket to go home." Anyway, I empty my pockets and give him some change, about 60 SIT. He waits a moment more and I tell him what's remaining are only the big bills. But that didn't represent an obstacle for him. He told me if I give him a 1000 SIT bill, he'll give me 800 SIT in return. What a nerve!!

* SIT is the Slovenian currency, Slovenian Tolar.
